Friday’s Tiny Experiment©
Take something that you have talked about that challenges an old paradigm. If you notice that your audience is not quite understanding you, use this mindmap to run yourself through the six easy steps of crafting a new message.
When challenging an old thinking paradigm, you’ll need a new way to engage your listen
- Start by asking an unexpected question based on a struggle you know they are dealing with. This will engage your listener.
2. Tell a story that relates to your question. Make it compelling and, if possible, end with a surprising twist.
3. Create curiosity by asking them if they have experienced what you are. Dig in a bit and ask them more about their experience. (Get into the emotion.)
4. Ask them to think of a time when this struggle seemed less difficult. Let them tell you their story.
5. Now, you are ready to share your magic. Tell them a story that shows that they no longer need to struggle.
6. Be ready with a Call to Action – a next step they can take. Make it memorable.
I’l be giving a live Tiny Experiment session, using this model on June 7, at 9 am. If you would like to participate, please email me at dale@shareyourcourage.com
